MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Due to an increase in positive Covid-19 cases among the employees, Mossel Bay Municipality will close the municipal office to the public with immediate effect.
Service delivery will continue uninterrupted. Emergency services personnel and staff serving the public at the licensing offices and cashiers will still be available as the necessary precautions are in place.
All other staff will, as far as possible and as was the case with earlier lockdown levels, work from home.
Residents will, therefore, not be able to schedule person-to-person contact visits with municipal employees until further notice.
In cases where meetings have already been scheduled, the public should please contact the relevant officials for alternative arrangements.
In the interest of the health and safety of both the public and the personnel the planned Community Safety Meetings are cancelled until further notice.
The municipal contact centre will continue to answer enquiries on 044 606 5000 and channel complaints appropriately.
