BUSINESS NEWS - The landside (northbound) carriageway of Louis Fourie Road, between Via Appie and Vyfbrakkefontein Road near Langeberg Mall, will be closed on Monday, 24 August.
The closure is required for the installation of a road sign gantry.
Traffic to be diverted
The gantry installation will take place between 19:00 and 02:00 on the northbound carriageway.
During this period, traffic will be diverted onto the seaside (southbound) carriageway, which will operate bi-directionally.
Temporary road delineation will be in place to guide motorists through the diversion.
Motorists are urged to obey all temporary traffic signs, reduce their speed and exercise caution when travelling through the construction area.
The Western Cape Government said it is working to maintain and improve the province’s roads.
“Please drive carefully during this period of construction. Let us work together to ensure that our roads are safer, FOR YOU.”
