MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Crime Prevention Unit of the KwaNonqaba police had a busy weekend in terms of eradicating drugs.
The unit commander, Wo JC Brink, is especially proud of the good work done by Sgt Potongwana, Const Rabie and Const Zani, who arrested two foreign nationals and a South African resident for being in possession of drugs packaged and ready for market. Several units of Tik, Mandrax, heroin and dagga were found and confiscated.
Plastic bags used for packaging the drugs prior to selling them were also confiscated.
A Tanzanian national was arrested for being in possession of heroin and Tik.
A Tanzanian national was found in possession of several Mandrax tablets.
