Books galore at popular sale
On Saturday 12 May the popular six-monthly book sale will take place from 09:00.

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Once again the half-yearly book sale will be held at St Peter’s Church, Marsh Street, on Saturday, 12 May from 09:00.

There is always a diverse selection of fiction, non-fiction, travel, cooking and craft books for sale. Stock up on a good read just in time for the cold winter months ahead.

While browsing, visitors may enjoy a cup of tea and a cream scone. For a more hearty nibble, boerewors rolls will be on sale.

Do consider visiting the church with its beautiful Gothic windows built in 1878 and enjoy the marvel of the beautiful dressed stonework. 

The spire is believed to be the tallest built entirely of stone in South Africa.
