NATIONAL NEWS - Seven tourists have been robbed at gunpoint by an unknown group of men on Corlette Drive in Johannesburg.
It’s understood that the victims were driving from OR Tambo International Airport at the time of the robbery on Thursday night.
One of the tourists was injured in the attack.
The police say the criminals made off with a number of items, including cash and jewellery.
Police spokesperson Vish Naidoo says that the nationality of the victims cannot be revealed at this stage.
“I can’t confirm the status of the victims that were involved but I can confirm that there were seven visitors to the country, they were in the country since Tuesday this week.
