Clean Rivers campaign supports Madiba Day
The need for water security, particularly in the face of global climate change, calls for a national and unified approach to protect freshwater ecosystems that includes rivers, wetlands and broader catchments. In order to achieve the above the Department of Water and Sanitation, Mossel Bay Municipality and other stakeholders such as Nestle cleaned up the river at Great Brak River as part of Mandela Month.
