Long live the Buff
Bikers from all over the country flocked to the Buffalo Rally in Mossel Bay this past weekend, the 11th time the town hosted the event. According to the chairman of the Nomads Motorcycle Club, Luderick Jacoby, the club took great pains this year to offer bikers even more entertainment, to ensure that they congregated mainly at the campsites at De Bakke and Santos. In March 1969, a group of Nomads went camping over the Easter weekend and it was here that the idea of the Buffalo Rally originated.
