Babette’s Muse Feast in Great Brak delights
Under a marquee tent in the cosy garden of Tafeltjie Dek Restaurant, the new owners Anton and Eleonor Alberts hosted a feast of entertainment and fine foods. Hostesses had decorated the various tables in different genres and the feast centered around eight dishes representing the culinary delights of a number of countries. Eleonor herself fulfilled the role of Babette, heroin in the 1987 French film on French Cuisine.
