Mosselbaai-munisipaliteit se Brand- en Rampbestuursdienste het sedert 05:00 in gunstige toestande bosse langs Louis Fourieweg in die Blue Waters-omgewing by Diasstrand afgebrand. Die nodige permitte is vooraf bekom om aan omgewingswetgewing te voldoen. Die meeste van die bosse wat afgebrand is, se wortelstokke is onbeskadig en sal weer bot.
