Ten spyte van die vernietigende brande en druk verkeer het die fantastiese somerweer, skoon strande en volop aktiwiteite aan vakansiegangers 'n besondere ervaring gebied tydens die afgelope seisoen. Restaurantpersoneel moes bontstaan om die menigte te bedien terwyl die paaie vol drawwers en fietsryers was. Die Trans Agulhas het weer eens vir baie opwinding gesorg en die Hot Summer Touchies toernooi op Diazstrand is goed ondersteun.
