MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Two men in KwaNonqaba lost their lives on the weekend of 3 and 4 February.
In the first incident, a man aged 27 died when he was presumably murdered after a fight.
According to KwaNonqaba police spokesperson Sgt Kapp, the police have arrested the alleged perpetrator.
"Two men apparently quarrelled outside a spaza shop at approximately 03:00 on Sunday morning, 4 February, when the victim's head was bashed on to the road surface.
"It is unknown what may have led to the disagreement between the two men.
"Anyone with information which may assist in the investigation is requested to contact the investigating officer, Wo Errol Barnard (044 606 5600).
With regards to the other incident, the police have opened a docket for an inquest after the body of a man was found with burn wounds to the hands and lower body.
Remnants of a fire were found nearby.
No visible injuries other than the burn marks were found on the diseased.
An autopsy will be performed to ascertain the cause of death.
