MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - One of the few "green lungs" in central Mossel Bay, the Harry Giddey Park is well worth a visit.
When the Mossel Bay Advertiser visited the park on 17 March, people were hard at work, trimming the grass and attending to other tasks in order to keep the park pristine.
There are beautiful trees in the park. It is a perfect place to walk and reflect or to hold a get together.
Unfortunately visitors leave their rubbish behind. There were cooldrink bottles and sweet papers strewn around in one part of the park.
Obviously people had had a party and had not picked up after themselves.
