MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Municipality has issued a media statement, clarifying level 4 restrictions after it received queries from members of the public.
The statement noted:
- There is no restriction on children visiting shops or shopping malls.
- Although the intention is to restrict movement, parents and guardians are welcome to accompany their children to stores, especially when the intention is to buy them clothes for winter.
- The proviso, however, is that children may not visit shopping malls unaccompanied by either a parent or legal guardian. Like the adults, all children have to wear face masks when they leave their homes.
- Children are allowed to exercise during the alloted time and within the 5km radius of their homes, providing they wear face masks and are accompanied by a parent and/or legal guardian.
